too bad they didn't include the O1000 with it's 7.0 rating, then the Gateway JB would have only been second to last. EDIG must be proud to have the two bottom rated players.

And did you notice that the GW player only had 20 users reviews compared to the hundreds the others have? So I guess the good news about the player being rated dead last is that it appears no one cares anyway.

I think this about sums up the EDIG effort:

"A year ago, the $299, 20GB DMP-X20 would have been more competitive,…."

Typical EDIG, follow behind everyone else with mediocre products.

I'm a little pizzed that the moo-pod came in last out of those 5. I think it should have done better. Whaz up with that playlist deal? Someone on agora claimed it was taken care of but not according to cnet. Might they have an earlier player? Finishing behind that ugly dell player is an insult. lol. I wonder what Walter and the indians were doing?
I just hope no long term reliability issues surface. The review complained about its weight but to me the solidness and weight contribute to its quality "feel" and I still say its the best looking player out there.
Imo edig is at a critical juncture right now and bloopers like the playlist problem cannot be tolerated. I dont think gateway is going to be too enthusiastic about entrusting the develoment of additional products to edig in light of this.
