Re: I'm more amazed at how AMD is holding up. In good times, their balance sheet, cash flow, and break even would scare anyone. But, when there is the current credit crisis?!? I still think the stock price is a house of cards..once one of their big instutional investors start bailing, it will set off a chain reaction.

I'm telling you, it won't happen until after Barcelona comes out. People still think this is AMD's silver bullet, their white knight. They think it will be the same success that Opteron was, because that's what AMD has promised. Until this last bastion of hope is forever decimated, I think investors will still hold onto the hope that a turn-around for AMD is right around the corner.

But when AMD embarrasses with a 2.0GHz Barcelona that fails to beat Intel's current generation, let alone their upcoming Harpertown product, and when AMD misses their break-even guidance for Q4 by a long shot, I would expect the house of cards to finally fall.
