How do you know if someone is selling or buying? For example, someone could be selling at .02 and the MM's buy from them. Conversely, someone could want in at .019 and buy at that price. All level 2 show is whether the trade price is higher, lower or the same. As this is not an electronic market that matches up buyers and seller (where there is always a corresponding sell for each buy and vice versa), how can you be sure whether someone is buying or selling?
