That's right. And what if it's $500 or so? And it's a hell of a lot better to have made some money trading than to sit with your thumb up your butt watching the MMs do their thing and not get a piece of the action, with the spreads this wide.
What a lot of people don't seem to realize is that we ARE the market makers. MMs trade almost exclusively off of our orders, or the lack of them. If you don't see enough volume in the market, then MAKE SOME. Put some orders in the middle somewhere and give them some motivation to stir things up a little. Otherwise, some of these stocks will just hang there and die on the vine.
Anyway, that's enough preaching for today. I'm off, over, and out--completely out of the market--for a while.
