I didn't know if he was referring to the previous move.. or what? ... I just suggested to al that we might want to track it and look for signs of a reversal after it's sell off last week... it was mentioned here on that previous move... it was confusing??
I dunno laurap... are you still comfortable with the OLD RULES ??? Havent' you notice that ever since they chaned the nearly CENTURY OLD rule about shorting ONLY ON THE UP TICK...the volitility has gone through the roof on ALL LEVELS??? I thought I saw BID SUPPORT the other day and it was just some guy SHORTING LIKE CRAZY... That rule change has made me second guess EVERYTHING ! catman...ISYA
PS...do NOT FORGET WHY they MADE that rule to begin with...shorting the downtick was blamed for the chash in 28...not to mention credit conditions that are SCARRY similar to what we have today...the FED is supposed to PROTECT US...did you see ANY of that Tues ? LOOK at the whip saw that yesterday was. I went to GOLD in MARCH to hedge and had to take THAT off the table today when it lost 8 bucks over night and it's DOWN 12 bucks NOW !???? I'm SERIOUSLY close to goin ALL back to cash now...even seasoned traders on out on the ledge this week...things don't look BAD YET but... SPOOKY for SURE !
