in pinky land nothing is free. Under the law they are protected from ever having to release the shares as free trading. Why would they anyhow, it would only dilute there allready worthless stock and they wouldn't recieve a dime from it.

So you have to take the initiative and free them up yourself under rule 144k. The only problem is that after holding your restricted for 2 years or more. The vast majority of the time they are totally worthless and just sit in your account taking up space. I have a number of those !!!!
