Hi Leap,

Thanks for the explanation. That is a bit OT to me :-)

Over the years I have ran into many aspects of stock analysis tools but have not yet build up enough energy (or interest)to dive into such details). I see all these tools as icing on the cake for investors. I guess I eat the cake as it comes and have no patience to find any icing!

I do not think this Board is dead. It just takes a nap now and then.

Hi Leap, no not dead! I have been here reading when I can. Just to let you know what has been going on, about three weeks ago I got DSL. At the same time I got a free firewall, http://smb.sygate.com/products/spf_standard.htm It showed me that a lot of programs were trying to talk to my lan, which I don't have, but I am using the lan connection to connect to the dsl. The long and short of it is I got parinoed looking for viruses. I even went so far as reflashing my BIOS, and wipeing the hard drive, not once but five times. I just got finished again last night. I am reinstalling programs now, taking my time and making a lot of recovery points along the way. Still have a lot to go, including office and my spell checker, so excuse my spelling.

About dievergence, I once read a book on gold and silver that had a system on that, but I can't remember anything more on it.

On my virus hunt, I think I have been just chasing my tail in a circle so fast that I just got deazy. I now have the dsl modem with its one way firewall and I went and got a 4-port router from wal-mart with a one way firewall, and XP's one way firewall. by one way I mean they block anything from outside my computer from coming in, unless I invite it. but anything that is on my computer can go out at will. The problem is IE6 lets web sites do so much, not only can they plant tracking cookies, but they can hijack the home page, plant programs that will give you popup ads, and if you have been to the seeder side of the web, you know what types of ads they are, I guess I still have to much sailor in me, that I go to some of those sites, but that don't mean that I want them to give me a new home page or popup ads, or emails, that the wife can see.
