I'm glad you still believe in Mr Smith, but as for myself and others who have been in TIDE for a long time, Smith has lost any respect he had for him when he took over.

I don't know if you have ever spoken to the man BUT as for me, I have and he never left me feeling confident. Maybe it is a Texas thing, but he has the same tough guy demeanor as George W. (And I am NOT impressed)

This all sounds backwards, but when Ward was using TIDE for himself, we were trading higher and investors were treated better...

When Smith took over, he said he was going to "right the ship" and the first thing that happened was our price dropped...all the way down to single digits!

This is from a E-Trade "snapshot" of TIDE...
52 - Week Range 0.09 (5/10/07) - 0.69 (8/2/06)

Smith has a lot of answering to do concerning where he is taking us and how, maybe if he would then people like me won't be bitching all the time.

I agree Chas...negative input can be distracting...
BUT, just having no faith in management is
no reason not to trade a position...though...
BAD MANAGEMENT can KILL a long position.
I was BADDLY burned by those guys at MMIO...
got in after their first R/S and beleived
their hype when ANOTHER TRILLION shares hit
the market...another R/S is ineveitable.
I foolishly took the long side of a bad
manager.
Works both ways though...I think the folks
running CTKH are idiots, but I don't think
they are THEIVES...I've been there for a
few YEARS and still believe I'll turn a
buck on their growth...I've taken profits
there once already then added to my free
shares.
With that said...good management really
IS a HUGE DEAL !

PS...I REALLY HOPE this hits my buy back
target of .17. I think this is a GREAT
long play...eventually. If news of Long Beach
breaks before then, I'll have to jump off the
nearest bridge.....THOUGH, I've learned
from coming to Ihub that you have to be nimble
and take profits early at this level or you
WILL get CRUSHED. Playin with house money as
SOON as you can is an important piece of the
puzzle...I got out completely because I've
missed several chance to take profits here
since it hit .17 the first time, last Feb/March.
I got out way back when they issued warrants
SOME time ago around a buck...and put a gtc in
@ .17 cause that's were I figured it would bottom...
after it filled, I did some NEW math and .11 was
where I figured it to bottom...it got to .09
as I recall ? STILL, it bounced a few times
before this last little run and I got that
feeling in my stomac that you get when you
DO NOT take profits and it slides back down...
I decided that I was feeling that way with
my last 10k @ .25 the other day and bailed
when I saw NITE drop down to .17 on the bid
side several times on Monday. I'm most likely
having GLUE flash backs, heeh(not really)hehe,
and am totally WRONG about this but I have a
feeling we well see .17 again.

JUST FOR THE RECORD...I think this last little
spurt was mostly do to the fact that they
got the FERC permits and the fact that NG
has hit a bottom. HECK...oil is @ almost
80 bucks a barrel...what's NOT to like about
energy..unless you are like me and JUMPED
ALL OVER CFK....YESTERDAY !!!
OUCH...lost over a buck and a half over
night !!! Almost twenty percent in three
days...DOUBLE OUCH !
