But quantum physics proved that one object can be in two places simultaneously, so why can't two objects occupy the same place simultaneously. I think they haven't got the measuring equipment yet, but they will.

(They appear to be in two places at the same time, but really it's probably just in another dimension. This has been repeated in particle collider experiments.)
