It's not inconcievable that Nigeria balked at this investigation back when ERHE's offices were raided. If it called the U.S. bluff and threatened to freeze Big Oil out of future Nigerian awards it would definately bring the HLS committee into the picture, and pronto.

We pee-ons just get to watch and hope.
