It is very possible to get a squeeze if the MMs or whoever are caught off gaurd imo, FTDs cover deadline is getting closer as well, sometime in August if I remember correctly. Knowing the true short position is next to impossible in this market untill the regs come into affect. It is likely shorts that are used to bring the PPS down to a buyers price are covered the same day as shares are accumulated. We probably don't have enough shorts to cause a typical squeeze unless the retail side grows a set and places asks far above this level.
