What you say about the value of your service might be true. I remember reading plenty of posts from you that were interesting/useful.

But if you have an interesting/useful service, I think the polite thing to do is to spend effort/money promoting it like every other business owner does.

I don't think it is polite to ride for free on the success of someone else's board to advertise your business, because in doing so you dilute the quality of the board.

One retained subscriber for you pays the cost of a lifetime iHub membership. There are thousands of people offering professional investment advice and services that would be relevant to board members, and might be useful/interesting. I would hate to see even a small percentage of them signing up to iHub, homing in on Zeev's popular board, and using it as an advertising platform.

Don't get me wrong. I'm on my high horse but I know you do contribute and I don't regard your post as a major bad thing. I just thought I would reply to a post that suggested FR was "sour" for not taking you up on your kind offer, as there are alternative interpretations of your reasons for posting it.

Anyway, enough said from me before i dilute the quality of this board anymore.

Guess I'll have to have my eyes examined. I thought I just saw someone post something that said, ".....they could never trade like Zeev, in fact I can't trade like Zeev and I'm better than anyone else here period..." Golly, that sounds like a challenge. Maybe there's a daytrader who'd challege this daytrader with his ego run amok to a 1-day $20,000 winner take all trading contest. Nah, I must've read it wrong.

my fees are ridiculouly low compared to other rooms and services...the bottom line is people are losing their shirts out there because they lack the trading skills to make money. They need to get that concrete knowledge as to how to trade...and i mean right now or they'll go broike fast...who wants to see anyone lose money? certainly not me...

Hi JO,
LOL!
One of the better under the radar promotional plugs for your room that I've seen in ages.........

It's SO helpful to know your rates are lower than those of your competition.

May I ask if you think that some portion of your competitive edge might be derived from the subtle promos you plant at Zeev's Humble Abode that surely must serve to cut down on your overhead?

Some noise is easier to forget than others.....

Party on.........

"they could never trade like Zeev, in fact i can't trade like Zeev and i'm better than anyone else here period..."

I like someone who is confident in their abilities but to say "i'm better than anyone else here period..." would be enough to keep my money away from you. Maybe you are good but you are still prone to mistakes and should be a better listener than a talker ALWAYS. I think I am a good trader but what I believe makes me good is that I listen to other people and constantly self check myself for mistakes as well as find ways to improve the statistical probability for a successful trade. I would never say I'm better than anyone else here.
