I have read people brainstorming ways to avoid taxes, but I have not seen anyone suggesting ways to evade taxes. There is a big difference. Avoiding taxes is legal, evading them is not. In any case, people were just throwing out ideas and trying to think outside the box to come up with new ideas. Later they can go back and investigate some of those ideas and figure out which ones are good and which ones are bad. Right now, we don't have enough information to make a decision about what exact course of action to take anyway.

There is no corporate scheme that has been presented. Only ideas from individuals. Those ideas do not make up a scheme because they are simply ideas that may or may not be acted upon based on further review. A scheme would involve a finalized plan that has already been made with the intention to do something unethical or illegal.

If that is the case then you should stop doing it. You are the only poster here that keeps bringing up the subject.

No one here, nor anyone from PNMS, nor the foundation has suggested it except you.

Please stop pushing the idea on this board. It is unethical.

Thank you,

Wrong again, Gunga Din. The mere discussion is not illegal nor unwise. It is called brainstorming and allows for individuals to evolve their ideas through discussion.

That statement alone tells me all I need to know. There is a big difference between discussion, debate and attempting to prove
you're right.

Discussion is the calm unemotional exchange of ideas. Everyone starts with certain premises but is willing to listen and adjust that premise based on what is presented by others. It is not rigid.

Debate is the attempt to sway opinion to a pro or con position.

Proving oneself right is to continually espouse the same rhetoric even in the face of conclusive evidence to the contrary. It's very rigid and emotional.

This is what I have found through a lifetime of school, business and personal interaction with people. The dictionary may present different meanings of these words but it is linear. Only through experience can you actually learn the nuances.

I have invested in many different stocks some were very profitable others were losers but the one thing I have done with each of them is to get an education and learn. Every position taken in a stock provides that learning opportunity if one is open to it.

Panamersa is providing me with a wealth of knowledge and is well worth not only the money I've invested but also the time I have invested. Both Costa Rica and Panama are very interesting countries and provide an excellent opportunity for alternatives to retirement in the States.

I'm glad I'm involved and feel fortunate for the opportunity to expand my horizons.

Evade Taxes your kidding

How about our elected US Government people who have all their US assets in the Cayman Islands and elsewhere. Yes our elected people who avoid paying taxes in their own country. Ask them about ways to evade paying taxes.

true but discussing ways to evade taxes is NOT
