9.87, -5.04, -33.8% ) shares plunged 35% to $9.72 in Friday morning trade after the Seattle-based maker of clustered storage systems and software late Thursday posted a second-quarter net loss of $3.62 million, or 6 cents a share, versus a year-ago net loss of $5.5 million, or 89 cents a share. Excluding items, the loss came in at 4 cents a share compared with 10 cents a share last year. Revenue rose to $25.1 million from $13.4 million. Isilon cut its 2007 revenue forecast to a range of $98 million to $105 million, and forecast third-quarter revenue of $25 million to $27.5 million. Analysts polled by Thomson Financial are expecting, on average, 2007 revenue of $118 million and third-quarter revenue of $31.4 million. End of Story
