I NEVER miss out on anything! The only trades that matter to me are the ones I'm presently in!

IMO If you watch ALL the big winner you miss and say next time I'll not hesitate, you make larger mistakes the gains!

Works very well for me.

IMO focus on your present day job, not the next guys success.

I don't switch lines in traffic either, anylonger! Seen the car I got by at the next red lite most evey time. But he wouldn't have the ticket on the dash, like I'd have.

Selling one stock to get into the next bg thing is not recommended by me. Not quite what you posted about, but a subject worth mention. IMO
