I'm not a Level 2 expert, but I believe that some of what you see on the tape is the market makers communicating to themselves. You see small buys and sell like that all the time that I consider painting the tape at closing.

However, I'll let one of the vets here give you a more solid answer if they so choose. I suggest Lowfloat, Airdale or Jim Charts for this subject...

Real person gave a good explanation in regards to partial fills. I would like to add {in the many variables that could be added} that the main point of interest during these transactions is it reoccurring with seemingly set numbers and is it leading the price, up or down.

We’ll call it gamesmanship and it can be played , if the sets are right; by longs, shorts, mo mo’s traders, singles or in groups and that would include you and me as well. Anybody can play until they get ate up by somebody bigger.

In regards to the overview and with a eye towards a longer timeline it’s meaningless. Short-term, certainly, it can have impact but in the longer view it’s the fear and greed that claims the most victims

Anyway IMO

viki,

People that feel like the price should be lower and have $77 bucks to spend lowering the price.

Hey Paul Did You Think Having Leases Could Lead to Stuff Like This??? But they did have to drill... You do know what drilling is don't you?
