Do you even know what a line card is? Are these 4 companies building "line cards" on spec? Do you think any company would jeopardize their reputation by selling a device that meets no recognized standards? Do you think any service provider will install hardware that has not been rigorously tested and validated by a third party?

I do not believe a single company is building a line card let alone 4. However, you can prove me wrong by naming the 4 companies.

Two part question. But you won't have to answer the second part. A nonexistent manufacturer cannot have an end-customer.
