lowman--that sounds right, but I couldn't find the reference so I didn't want to quote a specific number. It seems that I've heard the same $10-15 per acre, so I'm thinking we must have read it or heard it in something Keith put out. Recently, a small "signing bonus" was introduced only for primo site landowners signed on or before a certain date. I think we know why that incentive was there now...

Always finding the bargain, I believe Keith put out a "finders fee" for any landowner who brought another landowner to the table and signed. These were small fees, but paid for themselves by getting a lot of acreage under lease before any of the geological findings leaked through the "grapevine".

Even at the $15 per acre with 25000 acres, that's still production to pay $375,000 in cash for the leases and afford drilling with cash and more. I know I'm not figuring the time difference between the first lease and the last of the 40 sq miles if not already done but it shows that Hemi is making money and without debt.
