Do we know how long the FPGA development has been in the development process? It would appear that it has been in progress for quite a time period. Dr.Propp can be as meticulous as he wants but the end result of getting the FPGA designed and tested and delivered in a timely manner is still the key.

As an engineer who has produced many FPGA designs, I have seen engineers who seem to never get done because of continual final tweeking and I have seen others who were less adept and also took almost forever to get almost nothing accomplished. We do not know which is the case here; but, it is my belief that more than enough time has passed for even a moderately talented engineer to have produced the FPGA chipset. Many FPGA designs are produced every day in industry and it is certainly not "rocket science".

This is just my opinion from many years of design experience and having completed many FPGA designs. (This is submitted for what it's worth)
