Pre_clinical,

You should try to be more even handed rather than committed to attack GTCB because you are making a lot of obvious errors.

It is too soon to dismiss Factor VII and you have no idea how well any second generation Factor VII will pan out. It is also to soon to for GTCB investors to think it will be a sure fire winner.

Your love affair with yeast is also misguided. Glcosylation is only one component and it is the height of hubris to think that simply because Glycofi changed yeast's glycosylation pattern to fit human, that it means proteins will now be identical to those produced in human serum or better than proteins produced in goats or cows milk. One must acknowledge that there is so much we don't know. The rapid rise of information about siRNA and micro RNAs has changed our understanding of development and transcriptional regulation and made clear how much we don't know.

Your dismissal of DIC in sepsis is unwarranted and foolhardy. You are also missing the potential for rATIII in lung damage.

>I dont see the Factor VII program panning out… Atryn… Thats a real blockbuster there. Oh I forgot, it's going to cure sepsis. My bad… Then there's antitrypsin… Hmmmm.... ok. Sounds like another blockbuster… albumin. Oh wait that program's been shelved…[blah blah]<

Thanks for making it patently clear what your mission here is.
