It appears to me that Microbics may want full ownership, at this moment Sub-Surface(SSWM) only has 10% ownership. They (SSWM) are a subsidiary of Microbics(BUGS).

This could mean either:

1) bidding wars ( like what happend to bids in Dow Jones and other Google Acquisition)

or

2) collaboration --> more value in equty companyies like Appletree

Personally I think Applytree will bring people/companies together and increase value in an alliance...

I worked in this industry for 5 years...
