edit: Wahz: The question is how to determine if a stock is just starting its move or just ending it. If AMCC were to not only stop going up, but start a long backing and filling period, it would be smart to sell and buy back. If it's just pausing on the way up, and the backoff is trivial, then it's smarter to hold. The problem is in determining near term direction.
