oh for the love of god...not again! LMAO!

LECTURE TIME!

"But I guess you are in the group who ignores their standards"

That is absolutely condescending. Why do you make comments like that to people?

"I challenge you to go out and find any regular working person and see if they think $200,000 is not an EXTREMELY NICE salary when they are struggling to make enough money to put food on the table and clothes on the kids backs"

Oh brother. Phil isn't a regular working person. He's the CEO. Come back to reality SBC. His blood, sweat and tears have earned him that salary and more.

Now get off your lazy ass and go start your own company and get back to us on how much you think you should be paid.

not in southern california

300K plus is squarely middle class(at least newport/laguna area)

I'd say in a lot of the nation 100K would be barely enough to get by with the high cost of living.

Now someone might be able to live like a king on 100-200K a year in Mississippi. Fact is the high paying jobs are usually in high cost of living areas. The average detached house in my area goes for north of a million bucks.

For the amount of work Phil Verges does, I believe he is fairly paid at 200K a year. Now his big payday will come if nmkt is ever bought out for dollars on the share. I think that is what He and We are all waiting for.

So be it. Why not sell your shares and move on if this sticks in your craw??? Were common shareholders asked to vote on his emplyment package I'd vote him an even larger salary. Remember he holds a substantion percentage or all outstanding shares and it is in his own, as well as shareholders, interest to increase the value of these shares.Anything common shareholders can do to incentiveize him further is to our advantage.
