No not really. Pain scale measurements and radiographic interpretations are subjective. That was my main criticism of the satraplatin data when a lot of people thought satraplatin was was a shoe in for approval after the asco presentation. You must keep in mind that these asco abstracts are not really peer reviewed in the sense that the presenters and data are taken for their word. No independent outside agency or journal looks at the raw data prior to those presentations.
