IMO, there are limitations to how we can apply HFTOM. For example, if the Dow makes a new all-time high, should the COMP and NDX also? The Dow is only 12% away from the all-time high, so it's clearly a possibility.

I think the best way to apply it right now is to apply it to recent highs. The other way is to apply it to downtrend lines off the all-time highs on the indices. The SOX, for example, still needs to exceed its downtrend line, as does the Dow.
