#61084 RE: McCloud #61078

As a locksmith I (a paying customer) would praise your persistance in not giving up until the lock was open - I think your loyalty to this cause is misplaced, and it doesn't equate with the honorable tenacity you are supposedly known for in your profession. It's sort of like witnessing the little old lady we all knew @ church, who was early to arrive and late to leave during special church events - selfless, hard working, a true fixture, at the core of the heart of the church. Now, if she was also in love with and dedicated to Charles Manson, visited him on death row throughout the week, and was convinced, despite all the evidence to the contrary - that he was a kind and loving, improperly charged, saint - we'd probably all shake our heads. Hey, she's just as committed to both causes, she believes Charles Manson is innocent of his supposed crimes, and she pines away for him - wishing the world only knew what she knows (from spending time with him).

Sounds familiar. Being tenacious and committed, loyal to a cause, can be a great thing. To say that this characteristic is of equal value if applied equally across one's life - well, it just doesn't work that way. Being loyal to a bad cause, or to an unjust situation doesn't make the situation good or just. And no amount of waiting will change it.

Ray and Brad are not good or capable people IMO. No amount of wishing and patience is going to change that IMO.

RIM's deliverable, or lack there of, speak to the core of the problem. Money goes into the RIM organization and the only place it comes out is in the form of ovesized compensation packages and increasing corp losses. That's neither good, admirable, or honorable. That's just bad business and bad judgement, IMO, to continue to support such results.
