Good point. As soon as I heard it, I too, thought I should wait for the fastest. It also gives them a chance to work out any initial problems and to add in some improvements. Makes no sense to me, to buy a slower machine with the G5 3GHz so much faster, just around the corner. And right now, Donna and Silver Moon are both working fine and are fast enough to get the job done. The new PC, which was named eLizabeth on RB, well... I don't know what its capabilities will be, but it's no slowpoke. It's running the LiveCharts trial without crashing, and I'm not sure what I'm going to add to it, yet, but I feel it has a lot of potential for stock-related programs.
BTW. CNBC is saying Apple beat expectations by a penny and raised guidance for the forecasts, so the forecasts are very good. It was Intel that beat expectations currently but whose forecasts are negative. Intel's lowering guidance, warning, seems to have been the catalyst to bring down the techs. Hopefully, for not very long.
