gtv--good question. I did some quick research and here's what I found.

World Business Review is one of many programs produced and provided for distribution through various media outlets by Multi Media Productions USA, INC. (MMP Inc.)

1) From the website disclaimer -- "MMP Inc. may be paid consideration for dissemination of news, consultation, promotional and public relations services rendered to those companies featured on this website. However, MMP Inc. maintains the final editorial control of the content on this website."

2) Bravo TV and CNBC carry World Business Review as paid programming. Likewise the broadcasts are carried as paid programming on Frontier Airlines and Jet Blue via air satellite network. Paid programming means that MMP Inc. provided some monetary incentive in return for the broadcast.

3) Canadian TV and Asia TV Limited have established contractual agreements to purchase the program from MMP Inc. for broadcast throughout Canada and Hong Kong. Likewise US Airways has an agreement with MMP Inc. to broadcast the program. Not paid programming.

4) Contractual agreements with over 40 Universities to provide Curriculum for accredited full semester courses in Information Systems and Decision Sciences School of Business. Based on the qualifications of their Coordinating producers, it appears that creating content for College Curriculum is one of their primary focus areas for growth.

5) At one time MMP had a contract to provide content for satellite broadcast over Computer Television Network. Unclear whether or not that relationship still exists.

As an aside, World Business Review invites companies, such as Hemi Energy, that have a unique story that is favorable to the "Red, White and Blue, All American Image" to contact them with their story. Very similar to the pitch used by "World's Dirtiest Jobs" to find new material.

The implication is that not all companies need to pay to meet the criteria to be aired--they are looking for content that goes with the image of the late Casper Weinberger (original host), Alexander Haig (current host), and Norman Schwartzkopf (interim and perhaps future host).

I don't know if Hemi Energy originally paid anything or not. But I doubt Hemi is paying anything to have the piece aired at this late date. Since the lengthy delay had nothing to do with Hemi...so I'm guessing this one is on MMP Inc., but it's only a guess.
