I actually called him on his cell phone and he said he prefers us to call him on his regular phone line and he keeps his cell number for emergencies!

I asked him it is a split - he said it is not a split and we get one additional share as stock dividend. Since when they planned the merges they valued the stock at $6.75 and it never reached that they are giving a dividend to increase share holder value!

But actuality this amounts to a split.

If his answer is 2 to 1 split, it means than it is not dividend at all.
