I agree you but don't get the newbies all scared thinking a damn halt is coming...it would help though if people actually picked up a phone called their discount brokerage and ordered them not to allow their shares to be shorted. That is a prudent and self-preserving step that will help the masses I called Tdameritrade and USAA yesterday
