Sortagreen....I believe Dan to be a straight shooter and has nothing but the best intentions for us as investors. Granted, we are normally judged by results...not intentions, however, the only time I think Dan posted under another alias was on the RB board after they put him in jail. If I remember correctly, he was very frustrated being put in jail defending his choice of stock and returned, against the rules, under another name. I think that got him booted for a few months.
He learned his lesson and concentrated on building this board up. I might add...it wasn't a one man show but I give him loads of credit for the way he welcomed new posters and found ways to get everone involved in searches. After being absent for a while, several people were asking, "where's Dan?" He tried to back out some time back by saying he was going to take a break from the board. He did take a considerable break. I don't think he came back to say..."nah, nah, nah, nah, naaah, naaaaah! I know something you don't know!" He made some comments in hope to ease minds of the people on this board that he came to know as friends. I think the only one that has met Dan face to face is geotec. That is my trusting human side. I hope to tee it up with him someday.
My take is......Dan is extremely excited about something. Does Dan know something we don't? Obviously he does. Does that mean it will move the stock price? Not necessarily. Could it? Yes. Will it? I don't know and Dan won't tell.
I trust him.....
