That could work too, in the past makers of communication devices basically snubed intel, maybe they where afraid intel was too big and powerfull, in any event Intel has been doing lots of R/D in WIMAX and the model will be similar to the sucessfull centrino Wifi campaign, there are hints of quickly moving to the new high K Hafnium process even for small device and possible wimax silicon, if the process is that good with low power consumption it could give intel a substantial edje and most makers of the devices may just hold thier noses and order intel parts.
