Of course, I would fight to free Iraq just so each Iraqi would have the right to express the views you just did about the President.
As for burying my head in the sand, I long ago came to the eyes-open conclusion that only freedom in the middle-east will protect our lives from terrorism. As Bush so eloquently noted in his speech:
"Sixty years of Western nations excusing and accommodating the lack of freedom in the Middle East did nothing to make us safe -- because in the long run, stability cannot be purchased at the expense of liberty. As long as the Middle East remains a place where freedom does not flourish, it will remain a place of stagnation, resentment, and violence ready for export. And with the spread of weapons that can bring catastrophic harm to our country and to our friends, it would be reckless to accept the status quo." http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2003/11/20031106-2.html
I am very proud that our men and women are fighting for this noble cause. The fact that many do not see the cause for what it is should come as no surprise, since few ever see greatness when it is before them. But, history will judge this issue and I urge you to save your post so you can cherish - some time henceforth - the right you had to be wrong.
