Steve, I don't consider myself a "Pro", but when I look at a stock, I look for the potential for 30% gain. I also look for that gain within 6 months. If a stock drops 10%, I re-evaluate they play. Most times I jump, sometimes I'll buy more.

You need to figure out your risk tolerance, and play accordingly <g>.
