Good Morning Omni...
...I know very little TA but I would like to start learning, so bare with me if my questions seem ignorant. How do you get the trend lines on the OBV? It appears that you are drawing a straight line conecting all of the bottoms, but on the MDPA chart, when the stock started moving up more rapidly, you started a new trend line. Why did you start a new trend line and not continue the previous one? Is it arbitrary or do you base the change on time periods or price movement?

TIA

Great "seminar". Leaves a person feeling pumped (as seminars) do and ready to scour the charts eager to put into action new found knowledge. And the more practice the better. Thanks Omni.

OMNI, THANKS for the OBV school- you make it really clear. I have been sharing some of the info from this board to another and am encouraging them to "relocate" to I HUB. Fantastic site and board. I have learned mucho since joining and am still hard at it. Appreciate all that is offered here- thanks!

Omni quick question about time frame.
When using Big Charts I have noticed that the OBV shows up different for different time frames on some charts at different sizes. Some tickers show no difference others do. Here are 2 chart examples from Big Charts. These are on the large setting. The OBV seems different on each. (2yr chart shows just below 0.5 & 1yr shows above 0.50). Am I missing something or is this a software bug?

Omni.... Thanx for the seminar. Question please: Is there
an optimum time interval for the OBV to be the most effective ?
Eg; 1 Day, 1 Month, 6 Months.

And does the frequency change with the MDA; 5, 10, 20. ? Seems most charts posted use the 20MDA along with the OBV.

Thanx. This is great....

omnitrader, i'm new to this chart reading; 2 questions:
on BIPH, what does 50 % rule mean?
on IBZT, does your analysis look like it moves higher? If so, please explain? Thanks so much.

great examples-BIPH has to hold 50% to confirm rally. This stock appears so overbought I am afraid to touch it.

Omni

With regard to your OBV post 30076, and the BIPH chart. I'd really appreciate your comments again. This one is just blowing me away!
Thanks
