IMO, this was an opportunity to cover the few thousand short shares remaining. Although the short interest was a little under 20K shares, the absence of volume, makes covering very difficult when 5K share buys cause the price to rise 5 cents or more. Of course, the data below is for officially reported uncovered sales. Very hard to know how many "air shares" exist for this issue that still needed to be covered in addition to those reported below.
