I now use the laser platform offered by Genesis.. I also short FXI on a daily basis intraday, which became virtually impossible to short at Ameritrade and Fidelity over the last year so I finally gave up.. I got so sick and tired of seeing incredible setups and being rejected over and over..
As a perma bear/someone who prefers to short rather than go long simply because thats my comfort zone? its been my experience that the best shorts are simply not shortable because lack of availability.. How anyone can tell me there arent shares of the QQQQ to short or the IWM simply blows my mind.. CSUN I could understand, but FXI? IWM? Anyhow- I can now short them at will regardless.. DNDN as well come to think of it...
I just never thought there was such a difference between brokers and who has shares available/who doesnt.. After what I did to CSUN on Tuesday? Ill always make it a point to find a broker that has shares for shorts.. Any edge you can have in this game is priceless and standing on the sidelines just hurts..
