There was a rumor several weeks ago. Then there was an article saying they were not returning calls over the holidays (alegedly due to cost saving furlough) I think people thought that they must be up to something if no calls were being returned at all. Among us..mainly WAHZ had speculated CSCO or JDSU and I think we all were leaning toward JDSU.

Disclaimer: I am way overweight in FNSR and hope like heck they announce something Monday. $5.5 or better. Although I'd be happy if they just grinded up to 20 over the next several years instead.

fwiw, there have been rumors about fnsr for months, I think it makes sense.

BUT

I am wondering if I am missing a good part of the point on fnsr. They are not only tight optically with csco, named csco's optical supplier of the year, their network storage division is very competitive and the network storage companies like brcd and mcdt are being hammered by csco. The link is that csco is obviously the king and they will be using fnsr to hammer....everyone, as they move aggressively into the area
