the two counties may not be that far apart, but some of the leases in woodson co. (before the newly acquired leases) were located in a flood plane. it's my understanding that the leases(s) in montgomery co. are in a much better location for drying out quick.
According to the wheather channel those areas of Southeast Kansas have been hit hard and many areas are flooded out. This sure has put a damper on things!
