I respectfully disagree in part.

Companies go public and entice shareholders to buy for the benefit of shareholders. They want you to "buy in" to their business model that they believe will be successful to their bottomline, which in turn means success to the shareholders bottomline. They NEED you to buy in to their business model. Without shareholders, who read a company's PRs that announce what it is, or what is has done, or what it is going to do; without shareholders, who buy a company's stock, and talk to other shareholders about the potential of the company's stock... without that a company would have to find other ways to raise money.

-The company is responsible to implement the business model
-The company is responsible to the shareholders who make the business model possible to be implemented.

There is a synergy. There are responsibilities on both sides-- regardless of the reporting status of the company. I think this company hasn't lived up to its side-- you don't even know what they are officially doing.

It seems you once had a product close to being brought to market, now you have a product in the design/testing phase. And you don't know the status of the other product. What gives?
