Did you try to call back the number after they called you??? It really does sound a bit strange.
So that means, I can call my local police and ask them to call my ex wife and tell her to quit calling me? I didn't know it would be so easy.
You should post the number that showed up on your phone. Do you still have it?

Honestly, I've been scratching my head with these posts. It makes no sense:

"THE POLICE DEPARTMENT CONTACTED ME TO INFORM ME THAT ROBIN HAD STEPPED DOWN. JIM IS NO LONGER WITH CTTJ EITHER. THE POLICE SAID THAT I CAN NEVER CALL ROBIN AGAIN!"

So, the police is now acting as either IR/PR for the company or Robin's Publicist? And an "oh by the way, Jim is no longer with the company either."

If it's true, this is the most bizarre police story I have heard in a long time. Maybe you were hoodwinked into believing it and were actually called by Robin's friend to get you to bug off?
