DougS,

As you know West Palm has a lot of wealthy retirees on prescription drugs for blood sampling. That's the same plus Dr Frudakis saw in the Sarasota/Tampa area.

The more the public becomes educated about Personalized Medicine the better for DNAP.

DNAP has to come to the attention of Jeb Bush, if they haven't already.

I amazed at how these NIH grants seem to swirl around everyone but DNAP has to settle for its little subcontract.

I am reminded of SNP info from the very first newsletter:

"We have constructed a library of SNP maps, showing where, in genes, individual human beings differ from one another.

Our maps are by far the best in the world. due mainly to our proprietary (and patent pending)protocols, our SNP maps are deeper and more detailed than those held publicly, (NCBI) or privately (such as at Celera, Affymetrix, Incyte, Human Genome sciences and even Genaissance). Furthermore, our maps cover the entire length of the gene in the genome. The maps being constructed by others are focused on the ends. This is a crucial point because the depth and breadth of the maps are important! You can think of them as "treasure maps" - the more detailed and accurate the map, the better your chance of finding the treasure."

As soon as DNAP's patents are issued, I suspect the only treasure Scripps-Howard will find and can pocket in Palm Beach will be if they unearth something left by Captain Hook.

(Anyone):

How 'bout writing Jeb Bush to see if he's heard of DNAP and directing him to the website, as just one possibility? - Ann
