every new product goes through a developmental life cycle

So you believe this was a legit PR when they've used the same tactic of shoving a carrot in front of the shareholders for the last 10 years?

They've used the same marketing tactics.

1. Faster.
2. Less cost than any tech out there.

Yet, they continue to not make any verifiable sales nor do are they able to obtain any type of financing that matches their claims.

In FACT the financing they have obtained time after time points out no one in the industry believes them or they would have done what ever it took to fast track it to market!

There is a difference between a development life cycle and a product if they even have one that is DEAD.
The market says it's DEAD!

Please don't insult me by preaching about product development "life cycles". It is what I do for a living. True "product" development requires user/consumer feedback after they have used the product. This so-called product has never been sold, delivered nor used in real world commercial situations. Perhaps you can explain to me how they can "enhance" a non-existent product.

What RIM is doing is prototype development via press releases. That is a fact per their filings. They have clearly stated that they need at least $500,000 to Produce the ASSC.

As I stated yesterday, they are merely moving the goal posts in the hopes that investors will invest new money.
