I've taken my lumps, admitted that this was a "bad" investment and that the money was "lost." Now, I don't really believe that but it has after some serious cold shoulders and general bad attitudes, resulted in her not bringing up the subject again because its a "lost cause." One day when my plans come to fruition, I will surprise her with... "Do you remember that little stock..."

anyhow, handle your situation however is best for you, but thats what worked for me.

its one thing to appease the wife its quite another to recognize that the story line of what we bought and when we bougt wasn't on the level. i just wish i would be able to simply hold my shares and not spend so much time so closely following this stock. its curious of late that large vol. days have been up days and that almost universally one of these days is followed by opinions of the nature of 8 years to paydirt.
