I don't think that Dick Cheney, creep that he is, would push for amnesty for illegals.

Here is the best argument against amnesty that I have heard:

OF all of the people in the world who would like to come to the U.S., would we choose the people who are here illegally.
Of course, not. Their average educational level is something like 4th grade.

I am not being racist. There is a Latino girl at the local McDonald's, and I have given her some UNUSED household items I was going to throw out. She was very grateful and even sent some stuff back to her home country.

I AM 100% in favor of letting Latinos stay under a guest worker policy that ensures that they get minimum wage and work no more than 40 hours a week without overtime pay. That would prevent lowering U.S. labor standards. It stands to reason that there is widespread abuse of these workers, who, to be honest, are the reason we do not have uncontrollable inflation in this country.

I'm with Rudy Guiliani's idea of immediately finding out whose these people are so we can kick out the criminals. But we need to secure the gdamn Mexican border first.

What most Americans don't understand is that the Executive Branch of the U.S. government--which includes the INS--is not functioning. The passport debacle brings this ugly circumstance to light.

I hope that the U.S. can survive the next 2 years. Having a lame President, who at this point is totally worthless, could destroy us.
