Personally I wasn't expecting the PDR's to go live on time. I have worked in software development and software testing for 6 of the last 10 years, and know that things rarely go out on time. ESPECIALLY if they are in a new subject matter for the developers...
Desimplex has probably never worked on a complex financial platform like this, that MUST be secure and bug-free (severe bug free at least) before they go live. The risk of errors is just too great. So beyond even PNNM's projections, I'll bet Desimplex was too optimistic as well.
Bug testing can uncover severe last minute bugs that are showstoppers - and unlike Microsoft products, PDR trading can't be patched later to correct problems. It has to work right out of the box. So for me, it's all going according to my expectations thus far.
Cheap, fast, and Good. You can have 2 of the 3, but not all 3 at once.
