RE; the 100 shares trade...I should have separated the thoughts about the electronically triggered ones every 10 secs...as I know they are most likely part of a larger block....FROM the 100 shares that I have watched MM's washing shares amongst themselves...teasing the market to go up or down a penny or two...and when tey are trying to create incentive in the market to buy and sell....I was in a hurry, and can now see that I could have presented that to you differently.
RE: 'it is highly illegal to manipulate stock"........EVERY body knows that....I suppose that is why the guys that manipulated OSTK are in jail! OOPS...forgot....they are NOT in jail...and OSTK has been on the REG SHO for way more than a year now----and that's illegal too---but who cares? Who is gonna fo after all those carpetbaggers? hmmm? Altho, lately, the courts have been coming down hard on paid bashers, of late...and even AGORA has been fined and sued et al, for misleading expectations with their 'predicitons' in the past--but who is in jail with them? no one.
So you are totally correct--'it is done', and I will add 'all the time" "every day"--when caught at it, a small fine, and no jail. Go figure.
