Fact is the industry safety committees and experts are reporting that the Lithium with iron phosphate technology that LTHU and a few others are offering is a much safer form of the Lithium battery than the technology within those involved in the Sony and other laptop problems, and even safer than most other forms of batteries in operation over a greater breadth of temperature and environmental ranges.
IMO all these concerns over battery safety will help LTC over the long run to establish an advantage over competition.
