nice ... Net to Addax's interest, the "unrisked" oil potential in this play is about 225 million barrels.

Perhaps a Fathers Day or 2 away

Happy Days Ahead

But for now HFD to all the ERHC DADS

Sure sounds like cooperation with APC. It also sounds like they are very sure of whats down there!!!

"Addax's head of exploration Jeff Schrull said the company's key partners in blocks 2, 3 and 4, Anadarko and Sinopec, plan to drill the most likely exploration prospects that would generate a fast-track development, probably based on a cluster of finds tied back via subsea wells to a central host platform."

Noteworthy is this mention in same article of "3"blocks:

"At least 16 prospects have been identified over the three blocks.'

It "appears" to me that APC will have the drillship Aban Abraham prior to Sinopec and Addax for block 3 drilling? I base that on previous articles stating B-2 and B-4 drilling to begin in August but the AA coming to JDZ Q2 08.

"Through a wholly-owned subsidiary, Addax Petroleum entered into an agreement with Aban Offshore for the provision of deepwater drillship Aban Abraham. The contract is for drilling operations starting in the second quarter of 2008. The maximum day rate under the contract is $410,000."
