re high-end parts
As Intel's superiority at the high end extends in the absense of AMD's response to CORE2, Intel will be able to hold the line (and increase their margins) at the high end.
But I thought Intel's price drop was on that segment of the market, the high end. No?
I thought it was an effort to push AMD out of the high end, to take back share. I've not owned INTC in a while, I bailed to lick my wounds a while back. I'm not keen to re-enter, or to learn the details of how the competition goes in that market.
